Have you thought about exception of military service for someone who win an Olympic or WBC cold medal? Nowadays if a national athlete win a gold medal, he doesn't have to take military service. How do you feel, when you hear about them on TV or Internet articles. I think it doesn't make sense. It doesn't consider fairness. There are two reasons for supporting my opinions.
First, the reason is why national athletes shouold win a medal because that's his or her job. Do you think that men athletes thought they want to be a national athlete because of exception of military service? No, I don't think so. If the anwser was yes, nobody cheers them.
They have good physical strength so if they don't take military service it makes national power lower.
Second, do they have oppotunity to except military service because they make the country's status higher? Some people say that but what about the other people? For example, let's say when Samsung workers developed Galaxy S, Samsung make a lot of money because of Galaxy S also the country's status should be higher because of good products. Why Samsung workers who developed Galaxy S have to take military service? It's not equity.
So I think they must take military service even they got good scores or results in the Olympic Games. If they want to keep the law, general people should complain about it forever. In addition, we never find this kind of exception in the world. So we need to consider about it.

How do you think aboout exception of military service for someone who win an Olympic gold medal? Do you think is that fair? or not? I support that that's enough fair. Now there is the law that exception of military service for them but some people say that is unfair. There are two reasons for my opinion.
First, when they get outstanding scores or grades in the Olympic, they could let people who in the world know about Rep Korea. So the name of Korea should be known better than before. Still some foreigners don't know where Korea is exactly. We need to introduce the Korea to play in an importan role in the world. So I think national athletes who win gold medal are qualified for exception of militaty service.
Second, the athletes show their ability during the 20s I think. However in Korea, men have to take military service before about 30 years old. So the military service suffer a heavy blow to the athletes. For example, there is a very famous baseball palyer in Korea. He is playing in MLB, US. So he can make a lot of money with his good ability but he's had to take military service. But now he doesn't have to take it because he just won Guangzhou Asian Gmaes gold medal anyway. However if he didn't get the medal, he should go back to Korea from US to take military sevice because his age. If it was happended, there should be many things lossing.
In my case, I already took the military service but I don't think exception of military service for them is needed for Korea and them. So I strongly recommend to keep the law going.

Nowadays English has become very important language in business. In Japan case, if your boss make a new globalization policy drastically, so you have to use English in every meeting, email, communication. You have only two years for improving speaking English. Mr.Daisuke Hase who is speaking English fluently now said younger people or business poeple in Japan, they are in opposition to studying the English.
In spite of that his colleagues are taking classes after work and using their IPods for studying English. one of Japanese said if you have business like global market, you must communicate in English. However younger generation doesn't want to work or study overseas. That's problem. Another problem is system, students just memorize grammar and vocabulary to enter college. In addition, children study English just to pass exams or homework. Just memorize that is not same as English conversation. So by 2013, there should be taught English classes in all high school.
Strongly I think we need to study English or other foreign languages. In the future, we should have many things to do with other countries. For example, there are many foreign-affiliated firms in Korea so when we have businesses with them we need to communicate with partners. As in the news, I think that in good ideas and the company should support the workers to improve speaking English.
In my case, I went to Canada to study English because I thought if I wanted to improve speaking English, I should be in English environment. So I decided to go there. However somebody could say to me you could study English in Korea as well but I just want to make it in short time and I also wanted to have experience which are different life like life in Western. Actually I think it worked so I'm very satisfied with what I decided.
